Thank you Houston!  Namaste Everyone, Thank you for making Mahatma Gandhi Week - 2004(MGW) a smashing success! It would not have been possible without your participation, effort of a number of volunteers and support of many organizations. The finale of MGW was "Tribute to Gandhi", a cultural program, on Sunday, October 3, 2004. It was a memorable event for all present. Please find below selected comments: Chief Guest, Honorable Consul General of India, Shree Skand Ranjan Tayal - It was truly a moving, inspiring and memorable experience. Houston should set a national trend by making Mahatma Gandhi Week an annual event. What could be a better way to spread the message of Peace and Non-Violence and history of India? Special Guest, Elliot Gershenson, President and CEO of Interfaith Ministries for Great Houston: Interfaith Ministries will be a part of Mahatma Gandhi Week forever. Rathna Kumar, Director - Anjali Center for Performing Arts - Honored and privileged to have been a part of this evening's wonderful celebrations of a great soul's life and his everlasting gift to mankind. My contribution was miniscule, but I gained a lot more from this event than I put in. Sonal Bhuchar: You and your committee worked incredibly hard with amazing passion and dedication, and it showed all through. Please convey our appreciation and thanks to everyone.
