Organize Children's Project As part of Mahatma Gandhi Week to be observed during the months of September and October each year, organize a project for children of your organization. We will help you organize it. Following are some suggestions:Story Teller: We can arrange to have a Professional Story Teller come to your organization and tell the story of Gandhiji. Performing Arts: Children of your organization can present a performing arts item like a skit, dance, etc. at the Cultural Program on October 2, Mahatma Gandhi's birthday. Please contact us for more details. Hands-On Activities: Children of your organizations can participate in activities like collages, painting, making cards depicting Gandhiji's Quotes, etc. You can organize your own activity. Books: Your library can carry Mahatma Gandhi authored and related books. We will give you free of charge first set of books consisting of one copy of each of the following books: 1. The Story of My Experiments with Truth - An Autobiography - M. K. Gandhi 2. Satyagraha in South Africa - M. K. Gandhi 3. The Kingdom of God is within you - Leo Tolstoy 4. Unto This Last - John Ruskin 5. The Song Celestial - Bhagavad Gita - Translation by Sir Edwin Arnold 6. Our Gandhi - Child of Fear to Man of Freedom - Eknath Easwaran - Illustrated by the kids of The Marin Friends First Day School - A children's book 7. The Story of Gandhi - A Children's book 8. Mahatma Gandhi Comic book by Amar Chitra Katha 9. Gandhi Movie is available on loan 10. A documentary video of Gandhi produced by Mahatma Gandhi Foundation is available on loan 11. Additional copies are available at cost. DVD: We have available on loan the DVD of this movie for you to show to your organization.
